Secret Faces Vol. One

by Secret Faces

1.

about

The little we are able to help all the people harmed by torture is to create noise. Not the media but the audible one. It is a pity that this very experience pushes us to create music and art; that the sense of terror unites us.

This compilation is a small step towards supporting the people that have experienced violence, electric shock, psychological abuse for standing to their views.

The noise is not a torture but the language that we are trying to speak and reflect on.

"This dreadfully gnawing sense of you being supressed by someone's absolute authority like an animal in slaughterhouse. It is important to keep a bit of control trying not to perceive all that is happening as predator-victim relations but to consider it to be your struggle. It was slightly helpful for me to painfully rub my head against the floor in order to keep the feeling – although the tiniest one – of my actions freedom, it deadens the acute pain as well".

"The point of no return. Libertarian's reflection on all the torture they have suffered through"
